TravelSathi uses the information needed to arrange and operate cab bookings, communicate booking updates, support drivers and provide private ride tracking.

Information we handle

Booking details may include the customer's name, phone number, route, pickup time and instructions. Driver records may include contact, licence, vehicle and account-status details. We keep only the last four Aadhaar digits in the application.

Live location

A driver's device shares GPS only after an assigned ride is started. Updates are accepted only for that authenticated driver's ongoing booking. Public sharing stops when the ride is completed or cancelled. Customers need the private tracking ID to view an active ride location.

How information is used

Information is used for dispatch, customer and driver communication, trip operations, payment records, fraud prevention, service reporting and legal obligations. Access should be limited to authorized operations staff and the assigned driver.

Retention and security

Records should be retained only as long as reasonably required for operations, disputes, accounting and applicable law. TravelSathi uses access controls, hashed credentials, encrypted transport and restricted tracking links, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
